There are some important milestones in your vehicle’s life. From the first day you drove it home, or the first road trip you took. Well, there are some other important milestones you should recognize. The thirty thousand miles, sixty thousand miles, and ninety thousand miles. This is when your vehicle is due for regularly scheduled maintenance.

As we know, doing vehicle maintenance will extend the life of your vehicle without a doubt. And as they say, “an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure “. Hence, the 30k/60k/90k scheduled maintenance is nothing but a cautious step taken to avoid damaging other parts, thereby, saving thousands of dollars down the road.

For the 30,000 mile service, it comprises of;

  • Performing a complete lube, oil and filter service
  • Checking all the lights and horns
  • Lubricate suspension, ball joints & grease points
  • Checks and topping off all fluids
  • Replacing the air filter
  • Rotate and balance the tires and adjust tire pressure
  • Service of the front and rear differential, and transfer case
  • Replace the fuel filter when it’s replaceable
  • Replace A/C cabin filter
  • Reset service maintenance light

 

After the 30,000 mile service, comes the 60,000 and 90,000-mile service.

  • Engine tune up/Replace spark plugs

  • Replacing the timing belt as needed
  • Service & check battery  ( recommend to check every 50k miles)
  • Flush power steering system  ( recommend to change before 75k miles)
  • Engine Flush  ( recommend to change before 100k miles)
  • Flush transmission fluid   ( recommend to change before 60k miles)
  • Flush radiator/cooling system  ( recommend to change before 90k miles)
  • Replace serpentine/drive belts ( recommend to change before 90k miles)
  • Replace PCV valve  ( recommend to change before 90k miles)
  • Replace wiper blades
  • Flush brake fluid  ( recommend to change before 45k miles)
  • fuel injection service  ( recommend this service before 90k miles)
  • Reset service maintenance light
